Babe Dumplings was started by Sylvia Gray Hewitt in Decatur, Ga., while shopping for a Baby shower gift from a long list of registry items, I became overwhelmed by the process of making a decision on what to buy for a close family member. I wanted the gift to be unique and special, as I navigated through the aisle of the store I came upon a diaper cake my reaction was Wow! I can do that. I have always had a creative talent and that Diaper Cake ignited my creativity, which enabled me to launch my business known as Babe Dumplings. The Diaper Cake I created was a huge success at the baby shower and I knew then that this idea would make a special occasion even more memorable.
